In 1919, Marcel Tolkowsky, indicated that for optimum brilliance, a round brilliant cut diamond should be cut to his new standard of precisely specified angles and proportions. Tolkowsky's innovative design, frequently referred to as the "American Ideal Cut" set the stage for the modern AGS Ideal Cut and Hearts & Arrows Ideal Cut...the most brilliant and dispersive diamonds available today.

All Tolkowsky diamonds proudly display the eight Hearts and eight Arrows associated with the most perfectly Ideal cut diamonds, guaranteeing the maximum fire and brilliance according to Tolkowsky’s original mathematical principles.

Unlike most diamonds having 58 facets, the amazing Star 129 has 129 facets. Under bright lights Star 129 diamonds are truly blinding and even if put in a darkened place... they are still dazzling. The brilliance and dispersion is unsurpassed by any other diamond cut.

Based on a novel geometrical formula, precise interplay of each and every facet, and proportions of the stone, Star 129 brilliance is set free in a way never before thought possible. Whatever the view, whatever the light, whatever the distance; this next generation diamond cut is clearly brilliant!

The Princess of Hearts Diamond is the only Ideal Square Cut Diamond that yields a Hearts & Arrows pattern when examined through the Hearts & Arrows scope. This revolutionary cut was developed by the finest craftsmen in Antwerp, based on the symmetrical alignment of the 80 facets allowing it to reflect perfect light and pure brilliance.

Cut to the most exacting of Ideal standards, it takes up to three times longer than any standard square cut to achieve the finishing quality of the Princess of Hearts Diamond. Because of this painstaking process, less than 1% of all diamonds mined can be certified Ideal
