Lancaster Jeweler Promoted to Executive Vice President
(Lancaster, PA) Mark Allan Maurer II, of Vanscoy Maurer & Bash Diamond Jewelers, has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President. Mark Allan will be responsible for the daily operations and sales for the company’s store at 830 Plaza Blvd., Lancaster. The company is about to celebrate their seventh year at their new location.
“The store has grown significantly since we moved here in May 2004”, Mark Maurer, President, said. Vanscoy Maurer & Bash is the result of the 2004 merger of Bash Jewelers and Vanscoy Diamonds. Bill Bash and his downtown Lancaster store have been a part of the community since 1952. Mark Maurer was the owner of Vanscoy Diamonds, which has been in Lancaster since 1978.
The company features world recognized designers and is the only store between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh that carries David Yurman designs. Roberto Coin, John Hardy, Verragio and Simon G are also exclusive to the store. They are one of only two stores in Lancaster named as Official Rolex Jewelers.
Mark Allan Maurer II has been in charge of jewelry operations and sales training since the merger. “Mark’s new duties will encompass all decision making for Vanscoy Maurer & Bash. It is the next logical step in our growth”, Mr. Bash, said.
The company has a second store in the Lehigh Valley operating as Bixler’s Jewelers. Bixler’s is America’s Oldest Jewelers, EST 1785, by Christian Bixler in Easton, PA.
